Every day of the week, we have phone banks and canvassing events at our campaign headquarters in Elk Grove and at the California Democratic Party office in Carmichael. We are open 10am to 9pm daily. To join our campaign, please call our campaign headquarters at 877-750-2372 or sign-up online. And we need everyone to help Get Out the Vote!
Because of supporters like you, we have become one of the nation's largest grassroots congressional campaigns. You are our secret weapon, and the reason we’ll be victorious on November 6. Together, we will restore the middle class and ensure that the future is bright for Sacramento County. Here are the best ways to help our campaign:
1. Get Out The Vote! Our final push begins the Saturday before Election Day on November 3. This is the decisive phase of the campaign and we are counting on you to be a part of it!
2. Knock on doors! Going door-to-door is the single most effective way to help us win this November. Research shows that for every twelve people we speak with, one person will vote who otherwise wouldn’t have. Neighbors talking to their neighbors about Dr. Bera will win us this election.
3. Make calls! You can come to our office any day of the week to tell voters why you’re supporting Dr. Bera. We also have special women-to-women and senior-to-senior phone banks.
4. Take the pledge and ask others! Like the oath Dr. Bera took to become a doctor, he’s taken a pledge to put people first when he’s elected to Congress. Our pledge cards are a great reminder of the change we can create together. Pick up pledge cards in the Elk Grove or Carmichael office, or fill them out at BeraforCongress.com/Oath.
5. Help out at the office! Our campaign is greatly appreciative of volunteers who stuff envelopes and enter data. Because we have such a large grassroots operation, we have large amounts of data to enter every night and help is always welcome.
6. Support the office! Donating food, drinks, and office supplies is a huge help to our campaign. Take a look at our current wish list.
7. Spread the word online! Connect with us on Facebook and Twitter. Every like, share, and retweet helps us reach more people. When you volunteer, check-in to our office on Facebook and post photos to your social media networks or send them to press@beraforcongress.com. (We may share them on social media or our website.) You can even download virtual lawn signs to use as your Facebook profile picture to show your support for our campaign!
Our campaign is about the future we will create for our children and grandchildren. Together, we will bring new leadership to Washington DC that puts people first. Thank you for being a part of our grassroots campaign.
